The "Ticket" Song

Well, boredom hit me again this time while staying and doing nothing here in our house, so I ended up downloading this intriguing Thai movie entitled "Love of Siam" which was released 4 years ago (2007). Downloading this movie and watching it was actually a sort of curiosity. I heard a lot of good comments from those people who already watched this Thai movie (from those posted videos in Youtube to some several forums and sites which I normally visit when browsing the net). As what I observed after reading those side comments, I found out that there's something special in this love-themed movie that really made some members of the Asian community to go "crazy" on it and given with this curiosity, I tried downloading it through torrent (which took 3 days for me to download it completely with just less than 10 active seeders). It really took a lot of patience for me to see this one so I really expected that this could be something worth-watching.

So, how do I find this movie after watching it? Well, it's undoubtedly awesome! The story is totally different from those typical love stories I already watched before and that will really make anyone to realize a lot of things after watching it. Now I know why a lot of its Asian fans are going crazy on this movie and why this movie received a lot of recognition from different award-giving buddies in Thailand and even in other countries. I'm not going to tell you in detail the entire story here cause that's not really my point why I'm writing this article. You better watch it for you to know..(LOL)

Have you ever heard about the Thai band named "August Band"? Well, this famous band in Thailand is actually part of the cast for this movie and in fact their lead singer played one of the main roles. And since, all of the band members were also playing the role of the rising boyband starting their career in the movie, of course they also managed to showcase their vocal talent by singing/performing some of their songs (though I only understand the lyrics because of the movie's English subtitle). Among from the songs that the band had performed, there's a particular song that really caught my attention and still playing at the back of my mind after listening to it a couple of times. The tempo and the beat worked perfectly strange that really brought this interest for me to listen on it. Although, I don't really understand its lyrics because it's basically a Thai song, but then the rhythm had just overpowered its strange lyrics. This Thai song is entitled "Ticket" and after doing few research about this, I found out that it's actually one of the best songs performed by this band. Hopefully, Filipino singers will also came up with original compositions just like this.

It's probably is not real, a destination like that for someone like me

The ticket that everyone has, probably does not exist for someone like me

And so I turn back to the way that I came from, and there I saw someone looking at me

When I walked back, I saw that it was the same person that told me repeatedly, stressing that
